中国工艺美术协会地毯专业委员会简介

　　中国工艺美术协会地毯专业委员会（以下简称“地毯专业委员会”）始建于1989年，是由国内众多的地毯企业自愿组成的行业组织。
　　地毯专业委员会的宗旨是立足行业，服务全国，面向社会。专业委员会的目标是提高地毯行业的经济、技术水平，促进行业持续健康发展。会员涵盖全国90％以上的机制地毯生产企业，产量占全国机制地毯总产量的95％。
　　专业委员会致力于地毯行业的标准化工作。收集、整理、分析行业数据及相关信息，组织地毯行业内的信息交流，向会员提供咨询服务。编辑出版地毯相关刊物。
　　专业委员会积极开展与国外相关行业组织的交往, 开展经济与技术等方面的交流与合作。为保障消费者身体健康，专业委员会积极倡导向社会提供高档环保产品，力促国内地毯企业提高环保地毯产品档次,保障消费者人身健康，为国内地毯企业走向世界拓宽道路。

Introduction of China Carpet Industry Association Under China Arts and Crafts Association

Carpet Industry Association Under China Arts and Crafts Association (hereafter in a shortened form as CCIA) was established in 1989. It is a trade organization voluntarily constituted by many carpet enterprises in China and abroad.

The tenet of CCIA is to serve the nation and society as a whole on behalf of carpet industry in China. It aims to promote both economy and technology of the whole trade, and to accelerate healthy development of Chinese carpet industry. The Association’s membership consists of over ninety percent of all woven carpet manufacturers in China, representing 95% of all machine made carpet produced in China.

CCIA applies itself to the standardization across carpet industry sectors. It makes contributions to collect information on carpet industry and other related areas, to facilitate the communication within carpet industry, to provide technical and consulting services for member enterprises, and to publish written materials in the form of magazines and brochures.

The Association also strives to strengthen the exchanges within foreign and domestic associated organizations and organize joining in business and technique fairs. To improve the health of consumers, the Association actively encourages the production of high quality environmental protective carpets. In order for enterprises to raise the quality of Chinese environmental protective carpets, to keep the consumer healthy and to reinforce the competitive force of “carpets made in China” in international markets.
